Eighteen cases added today

Thank you, all you volunteers who devote so many unpaid hours of your life keeping cold cases *alive* in the public’s awareness. After so many years it looks hopeless. To this day, Jack the Ripper and The Black Dahlia are cold cases. Sometimes, though, a case 30 or more years old gets cracked. “Somebody knows something” is almost a cliche, but it’s true, and sometimes, death-bed confessions or clues do emerge. (Julie Benning, Iowa Cold Case, 1975, was my sister.)

The Charley Project Blog

I worked all night on writing MP cases and pulled off two updated cases and eighteen — count ’em, eighteen — new ones before I decided to call it quits. Yay. I would also like to announce that Charley’s on Resolved Page #100 now.

I’m still not ready to go to bed so I think I might commence writing updates for tomorrow.
